There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. So where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us? And is it possible to find real peace in the midst of so much anxiety? And what really is the purpose of life?

Hope Explored is a brand new short three week course that begins to look at whether Christianity can offer an answer to those questions. It is relaxed, informal and you won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud. You are free to ask any questions you like or if you prefer you can just come along and listen.

Who is Hope Explored for?
It's for anyone who is looking for hope. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome!

What goes on?
We try to run the course in-person where we can, but when restrictions deem it necessary we run it on Zoom. There’s a video to watch, a dip into an account of Jesus' life and something to discuss.  We start at 7.30pm with a cup of tea and end the evening by 9.00pm.

Of course, if you wish, you are welcome to stick around a bit longer and discuss any further issues you might have. What’s more, you can ask any question you like, at any time during the course.

When does it start?
The course has just finished and another course will start shortly. It you're interested in joining please email Andy & Annie Liggins at explore@stsimonsouthport.org.uk.
