Girls Brigade

In 2018, Girls Brigade will be celebrating 125 years as an organisation, across the world, there are thousands of companies part of churches, and our aim is “To help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life”.
We may be an old organisation, but we are far from old-fashioned, we want to empower girls and help them grow in a safe and fun environment. We meet every Tuesday in term time,

  • 5-8 years meet 6-7.15pm
  • 8-18 years meet 7-8.15pm

We play games, complete activities such as crafts and learn more about how we can live our lives with Jesus by our side.

Boys Brigade

Boys Brigade meets every Wednesday:

  • Anchor Boys (school years reception – year 2) and Junior Boys (school years 3 – 6) meet 6pm – 7:15pm.

We learn and play games such as hockey and football, we sometimes do experiments and baking too!
Each week we also learn about what the Bible has to tell us about our daily lives and how we behave around others, for this we look to the teachings of Jesus Christ and his message of hope and joy he brings to our life.
